1. NFI dataset - First dataset provided by the JRC - version 12 at 2020-12-11 - CH NFI data only

The zip-folder is containing as an acception only the Swiss NFI data. Nevertheless it is Version 12 of the NFI data and has the status: 2020-12-11 and is available under EIONET Web Transfer link for 10 days from 11/12/2020:

Please unzip the file and copy the entire 'CH' folder to the NFI data structure where all the other country folders are.

FISE data table - Status 2020-03-31

This table comprises the descriptive elements and metadata for each single dataset that is stored and retrievable through FISE.
It contains information on satellite imagery based Forest Cover raster datasets and National Forest Inventory (NFI) sample-based data from various data sources/providers.

The file is bi-monthly updated with new forest data retrieved from public sources to be uploaded to FISE.

Actually it contains 6,257 datasets, status 2020-03-31.

7d. Dataset provided by the JRC - forest area products generated from Global Forest Watch (GFW) - Global Tree Cover data 2010 at NUTS-1 levels

The GFW2010_NUTS-1.zip folder contains 133 TIF files for NUTS-1 administrative units of all European countries (EEA39 plus Gernsey, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino and Vatikan).
These files have to be dropped into the existing file structure under (ATTENTION, very likely):

raster_GFW\Imagery\Info_level_B\Topic_Area\NUTS1\

to match the other GFW folder name structure (2000 and 2010) as in the FISE data table - Status 2020-03-31.xls file.

7c. Dataset provided by the JRC - forest area products generated from Global Forest Watch (GFW) - Global Tree Cover data 2000 (version 1.4) at NUTS-1 level

The GFW2000_NUTS-1.zip folder contains 133 TIF files for NUTS-1 administrative units of all European countries (EEA39 plus Gernsey, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino and Vatikan).

The GFW2010_small-countries.zip folder contains 7 TIF files from small state European countries (Gernsey, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino and Vatikan).

These files have to be dropped into the existing file structure under: raster_GFW\Imagery\Info_level_B\Topic_Area\
to match the other GFW country files thereunder (2000 and 2010).
