- Corine Land Cover raster dataset covering entire Europe and 47 separate datasets at NUTS 0 level (one for each country cut from entire Europe dataset based on official European Countries boundary dataset from GISCO 2016, 100K resolution) for the four status years 2000, 2006, 2012 and 2018. Additionally 133 raster datasets at NUTS 1 level cut by GISCO NUTS 1 level boundaries for each of the four years.

- Corine Land Cover raster dataset covering entire Europe and 47 separate datasets at NUTS 0 level (one for each country cut from entire Europe dataset based on official European Countries boundary dataset from GISCO 2016) for the four status years 2000, 2006, 2012 and 2018. Additionally 133 raster datasets at NUTS 1 level cut by GISCO NUTS 1 level boundaries for each of the four years.
These datasets contain only the forest related classes: Class 23 (Broad-leaved forest), Class 24 (Coniferous forest) and Class 25 (Mixed forest).

under Tables:
Excel files with statistics calculated on the areas occupied by forest for each of the countries and each of the NUTS 1, NUTS 2 and NUTS 3 level unit entities. Fields for each of the NUTS Unit entities: NUTS Unit Area, Forest area, Percentage of Forest, Number of separate Forest Patches, Average Patch size. Followed by statistics for each of the NUTS Unit entities on forest patch size classes (11 patch size classes). For details refer to the Field_Code_Definition Sheet as part of each Excel file.
